INSTITUTE FOR AMERICAN MUSICAL THEATRE
IAMT SUMMER INTENSIVE
New York City is home to Broadway and the Institute for American Musical Theatre is home to our Summer Intensive program.
From July 1st - July 26th 2024, the IAMT studios and theater will host a FOUR WEEK Summer Intensive unlike any you've ever experienced! Students AGES 12-19 will have an opportunity to work with IAMT's outstanding, all professional Broadway faculty!
We believe that, in addition to having a ton of fun at a summer program, the level of training should be top-notch and the IAMT faculty is among the absolute best in the country. From working with Tony Award-nominated Broadway producer, 3x Broadway performer and IAMT owner and director, Michael Minarik, to working with current dance captains and choreographers of Broadway shows. You will also have the chance to work with other tony award-nominated faculty, broadway and national touring casting directors and special guest masterclasses. You can expect incredible training at the IAMT summer camp.

Past masterclasses have been with Jeremy Jordan, Corey Cott, Laura Osnes, Carolee Carmelo, Megan McGinnis, Scott Wojick, Merri Sugarman, Derek Klena and many more.
Classes in: Voice, Acting, Ballet, Musical Theatre Dance, Jazz Funk, Contemporary, Tap, fitness classes and more. Come get the real "Broadway experience" at IAMT's Summer Intensive in 2024!
DATES
July 1st thru July 26th 2024 (4 weeks)
Classes are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm
Local students that don't need housing can also select 2-week options
PRICING
$2000.00 for a two-week program
$3000.00 for the entire four-week program

HOUSING is not included in the tuition cost but dormitory housing at The Towers at CCNY with two students sharing a room. Parents are welcome to room with their children for the same cost.

TICKETS: tickets to 1 Broadway show will be included in the price of the program with a possible talkback with cast member.
CLASSES: The Art of the Breath™(acting), Voice, Improv, Ballet, Commercial Jazz Funk, Musical Theatre Dance, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary Dance, MELT method®, PLUS opportunity to audition for professional talent agents and casting directors.
