We were fortunate to partner with IAMT for a workshop of a new musical in development. It was a dynamite experience. We were very impressed with the level of dedication by both staff and students. It was a joyful process all around. We especially appreciate the love and care that Michael Minarik, the Director of IAMT, shows our team as well as his students. We are looking forward to developing future pre-Broadway shows with IAMT.

"IAMT is so much more than a place to learn how to act, sing and dance. It is a safe environment that allows its students to explore and become the Performing Artist they hope to be. Taught by active members of the industry with real world sensibility is one of the many things that gives the students a solid foundation from which to launch their careers! The students come out of this training program ready to work."
Wojcik Casting (Jesus Christ superstar national tour, RENT national tour, Kinky Boots national tour, Something Rotten national tour and many more)
"IAMT is doing it right. The care the attention and the training given to these students is unparallel. I have been honored to teach there for many years and seeing the growth in the students every time I return is unlike anywhere else. Not only are they coming out as true triple threats, they are coming out as good human beings. They are people that you want to hire because they will raise the level of your production on stage and off. "G
Gayle Seay Artistic director Stages of St Louis.
IAMT is a training facility like no other. The students are surrounded by working theatre professionals who can give them knowledge that can only come from people who are currently doing it! What it's really like to be in an audition and in tech and working on a new play or musical or tv show. The bar is set high but the environment is warm and encouraging. I feel so lucky and proud to teach these incredible young performers. They inspired me to be my best in the room and onstage.
-Cameron Adams. 14x Broadway performer. Including Shrek, Mrs Doubtfire, The Music Man, How To Succeed, Hairspray, She Loves Me, My Fair Lady and many more.

Developing a healthy vocal technique is one of the most important factors in becoming a reliable performer. IAMT gives their students a strong vocal foundation which gives them the confidence to know that they will be able to sustain a 400 performances/52 weeks a year schedule on Broadway!
Being in New York City provides our students with the opportunity to study with our outstanding working faculty as well as work with special invited guest artists. When all of your teachers are Broadway professionals, it is easy to see how high the bar is set. The IAMT students do an average of 13 dance classes a week in Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Commercial Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Modern/Contemporary and repertoire. We dance more at IAMT than most college "dance programs".
Work with those who DO at IAMT!
IAMT is also the only musical theatre program in the country that teaches "The art of the BREATH™" acting technique created and developed by IAMT Acting Head Mr. Michael Minarik. Acting is a deeply personal experience, and we want our students to have a broad palette of colors to paint with.
Each Summer, IAMT gives students AGES 12-19 from around the country and around the World the opportunity to work with IAMT's outstanding, all professional Broadway faculty! We believe that, in addition to having fun at a summer program, the level of training should be HIGH and the IAMT faculty is among of absolute best in the country!
